I joined the company three years ago following the Management buyout of the organisation from David Whitehead having previously led the management buyout of Badgerline from the National Bus company in 1986. I also helped develop this organisation into Firstgroup plc which I retired from in 1999.
My time is now split between SLX and several charitable involvements in the South West.

Completing the renowned Northcott Theatre technical apprenticeship I joined the Stage Electrics Hire Team in 1990 working in the warehouse. Soon after the Events team came calling and I spent many years delivering a range of high profile events to some of the biggest global production customers.
As Managing Director, I am honoured, excited and very lucky to be working with a wonderfully talented, passionate and amazing group of people and am thrilled to be part of that team that look after and deliver for our huge and very loyal range of customers.
I am a very proud dad of 2 sport mad boys, one crazy but lovely collie dog and husband to a long suffering and very understanding wife. I am mad about flying, cricket and rugby, and adore Italian food.
My association with SLX started whilst still in short trousers, as a hire customer for my school but started professionally in November 2000, after I completed the technical apprenticeship at the Northcott Theatre under Maurice Marshal in 1997. My first posting was to the Exeter events team where our team project managed everything from university balls to regional conferences. As SLX grew I moved to Bristol to concentrate on the broadcast sector and major events.
Now based out of our London Office I am fortunate to lead a fantastically creative and passionate team of Project Managers delivering a myriad of diverse and world class events.
