Lauren Howard, Head of Brand at The Grand Appeal said:

“We are absolutely thrilled that we have such a fantastic array of international creative talent joining our trailblazers and local artists in Bristol this summer in aid of Bristol Children’s Hospital, and we look forward to sharing all our designs with visitors over the summer.

“Money raised will help The Grand Appeal to continue its work with Bristol Children’s Hospital, helping them to provide world-class care to sick babies, children from Bristol, the South West and beyond.”

Following the trail, the sculptures will be auctioned to raise money for The Grand Appeal to support Bristol Children’s Hospital, which treats more than 100,000 children each year. The auction, which is sponsored by SLX, is due to be held on 3rd October.

SLX Chairman Alastair Currie said:

“We are extremely proud to sponsor the auction at the end of the trail. The auction is a vital element of the trail as it helps the charity raise the much needed funds through auctioning off the incredible statues.

“The Bristol Children’s Hospital does so much to support the sick children and babies of the South West; it was an easy decision for us to support the cause. We look forward to being part of it.”

Bristol’s two previous trails, Gromit Unleashed and Shaun in the City, raised over £6 million for Bristol Children’s Hospital helping the charity to fund pioneering, life-saving equipment and research, free family accommodation and support, music, arts and play programmes and much more.
