Job Summary

As part of the Dry Hire team this role is to provide technical and administrational support for the team and also build out relationships with other dry hire suppliers and gain B2B revenue. The Dry Hire Coordinator plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional services to both internal and external customers, welcoming clients new or existing, order processing, offering guidance and technical assistance, resolving issues, and providing on-hire support. You are expected to consistently demonstrate outstanding customer service skills, product knowledge, and service expertise when dealing with SLX clients. Working closely with the Dry Hire Manager you will ensure delivery of our hire division is market leading and will maximise all opportunities by cross-selling and up-selling our services and products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing administrative support to field-based staff, including Business Development Managers.
  • Efficiently processing and updating orders using Easyjob.
  • Using your knowledge of SLX hire inventory, ensure correct equipment is booked for our customers needs, ensuring attention to details and accuracy at all times.
  • Managing the main SLX telephone line, promptly addressing inquiries, and redirecting calls when necessary.
  • Handling all general inquiry emails received and responding appropriately.
    Building and maintaining strong relationships with both internal and external clients.
  • Acting as a liaison between warehouse teams, field-based staff and other stakeholders to ensure that the end to end processes of projects are as efficient as possible.
  • Assisting with Pre-Shows.
  • Balancing the expectations of internal departments and clients while optimising the use of internal resources to maximise profitability.
  • Assisting with invoicing and following up on payment collections.
  • Proactively contact customer to confirm hire return details, chasing late returns, pricing and invoicing equipment lost or damaged on hire.
  • Be part of a team who proactively engage with customer to develop relationships.
  • Serving as an ambassador for SLX, promoting the company’s values and mission.
  • Actively manage the Ex hire rental sale list.
  • Undertaking other duties as reasonably required by your line manager.
