The pandemic has hit students hard, and their university experiences haven’t been the same since the lockdowns began. With campus now opening back up, the Bristol University Students’ Union approached us to deliver a delightful welcome week fair for new students who had lost out due to the pandemic.

The Brief

The Bristol University Students’ Union approached us to deliver their post-COVID-19 welcome week fair.

Our Approach

The Students’ Union were expecting around 10,000 students to attend their welcome week events, so we needed to find a base that could accommodate large amounts of people and host a wide range of exhibitors. We located a site on the Bristol Downs and created a complete infrastructure that provided a safe facility for students, who had missed out on their opportunity to get a proper welcome to their new university life, to meet their peers and engage in everything the University had to offer.

The Results

The Welcome Fair had the highest attendance of any previous Welcome Fair, and all of the exhibitors present at the event were happy with the infrastructure we provided.
